Super Bloom 188 (Star of the Show grey skies / Spring Fling)
I have been dreaming of doing a floral series! Using a silkscreen technique, each of these mono prints resembles a painting. What I love about it are the random oops and mistakes that can happen along the way that contribute to the perfect imperfections of each.
I call this piece "Star of the Show" based on its star shaped lime green vibrant leaves. I love how these colors play off against the grey of the city, brightening every step along the streets. It's part of the SPRING FLING collection, a nod to all of the goodness that appears in this colorful time of the year.
One of a kind, hand painted on a silk screen, then printed on heavyweight archival paper. I work out of a screen print studio in East London called The Print Club.
I do my best to capture the true colors of this print, but please note that colors may appear differently on your screen.
Due to the nature of printing, there may be slight ink spots in the borders and variations in texture and ink coverage in the print. These should not be considered flaws, but part of the hand created mono print process and add to the charm of the print.
