ABOUT ME & Blue

ME & Blue was founded in 2000 by M.E. Ster-Molnar. Named after herself
and sister Blue, the initial boutique was a 2nd floor walkup in a Philadelphia loft.
After 6 years, sunshine was on her mind, and she packed it all up and moved to Los Angeles.  

In 2009, after a 3 year hiatus, ME & Blue was re-invented in a bungalow on up
& coming Rose Avenue in Venice, CA. A lovely garden outside and the ocean just blocks away add to the bohemian feel of the new location.  

A child of the 70’s, M.E. is inspired by anything from her childhood bedroom,
Paul McCartney and Wings, vintage 7-Up signs, pre-school artwork, boxer dogs, Thailand, London, and flowers.

With 25+ years of retail experience, M.E. designs most of the styles in the boutique. Most designs under the ME & Blue label are priced under $100 and styles are named after friends, family, beloved pets, and pop culture icons.  In addition, M.E. mixes in fun vintage finds, as well as up & coming designers like Indah, Vintage Lamb, and City of Dolls.

From being the oldest child of a military family, to life in Florida, NYC, and Philadelphia, M.E. now calls Los Angeles home. She lives in Woodland Hills
with her husband Dave, rescue boxer Pixie Mae, australian sheperd Chase, and
shelter cat Summer.

For fun, M.E. swims laps, works on her garden, volunteers at Boxer Rescue Los Angeles and KCRW, and tries to be domestic.  When all else fails, she visits her sister Blue and family in Asheville, North Carolina and Jacksonville, Florida.
